mine is a bass ackwards way of saying mind over matter - as in, I don't mind so it doesn't matter. I've had it for years and hate it.

When my husband and I started dating, he used to say before we'd go out "We have fancy plans and pants to match". I thought it was cute, so turned it into Fancypantstomatch =D

Tracie is my first name and way back when, when we had pagers instead of phones and no caller ID my sister and i used to put 515 after our message to let eachother know it was sis! That is what makes up Tracie515!

My first name is Samantha. A nickname given to me a while back was Dot. I was the only girl in a group of guys and we were talking about the "Our Gang" kids and the little girl's name was Dorothy.

I've been using a variation of the Sea Change handle for a long time online. Of course, I had a big sea change in my life. Happened when I was forty seven (fifty-three now).

You could say that losing weight with Atkins was another sea change for me, which is why I chose it again (after changing from "sallyslimsoon" on reaching goal).

My two sea changes are what make my life so much happier (along with my two boys, of course).

Originally I was on the ADBB as "Tamariah" - then awhile back I needed something to give me power, feel good and fly high so I picked "LadyHawke". It seems to be working and I like it. Have been thinking of changing it again....hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm maybe to TAG! I'll think on it a bit longer before putting in my request

a Boonie stomper to me is one who heads for natural spaces, (be they trails, campgrounds, beaches, lakes, mountains, snowpiles, marshes, creeks, rivers....) at every opportunity. It also includes exploring in general, by whatever means of transportation accomplishes it. That's me. I also sometimes relish the idea of living in the boonies, away from traffic, pollution, crowds and noise.


The name actually has nothing whatsoever to do with ADBB or Atkins beyond the fact I was exploring the web when I found this wonderful forum, which is my first forum.

This thread is fun!

My name comes from a principle from Ghandi called Satyagraha. Basically it's, well, here...I'll let Gandhi explain it:

"In the application of Satyagraha, I discovered, in the earliest stages, that pursuit of Truth did not admit of violence being inflicted on one's opponent, but that he must be weaned from error by patience and sympathy. For, what appears to be truth to the one may appear to be error to the other. And patience means self-suffering. So the doctrine came to mean vindication of Truth, not by infliction of suffering on the opponent but one's own self."

Anyway...so I took Saty from Satyagraha and stuck my favorite number 111 (cause I like ones and in code it means "yes yes yes" hehe, I'm a geek) on there for good measure.

I like being called Saty around here cause Saty is my super weight losing personalilty.

Wow...mine isn't so deep.....Thumper...been a nickname for ages..plus one of my tats....and 1616 because when people asked how old I was I would say 16+16 (sounds much nicer than 32..........man what I woulnd't give to be 32 again...
