Headland is about 35 minutes going the back roads from where those kids were killed in the deadly tornado yesterday. Enterprise, Alabama is a wonderfull little town with some of the nicest people. Our prayers go out to the grieving families.
As I tell my family, "We don't have problems, we have inconveniences!"
Iditarod starts Saturday. Grizzly not able to go this year. Grandcub's first birthday and MamaBear would skin me and make a rug out of me. Will be there next year!

I also hunt in dothan each year. Tell him we hunt between Columbia, Dothan and Headland, If he makes it like a big triangle. Small world.

i have been to OPP alabama,,,VERY SMALL TOWN. my mom used to live there. it is about 30 miles from enterprise so of course i was on the phone to check on my dad today. he is fine thank goodness. have been to both enterprise and dothan while visiting there,,,very pretty country, nice people

My sister-in-law lives "slightly" outside of Dothan, okay, so it's more like an hour and a half in Clanton. We've traveled in and out of Dothan quite a few times in the past when we visited her and her family, as well as when we lived in Panama City, FL.
Sorry to hear you won't be hitting the Iditaord, Grizz...maybe next time. Hope little Grizz has a wonderful Happy 1st birthday!
