Granted... You went to a RICO auction and purchased a spiffy new car at a great price... but now the previous owner is out of jail and hunting you down... apparently the FED's didn't find all the drugs that were hidden in the car!


I wish I was already moved to the mountain house and didn't have to work on this one any more.

Granted....you're all moved into your mountian house - enjoying the peace and quite - you sleep wonderfully the first night and wake up to 10 feet of snow outside! Lucky for you you stock piled wood for the fireplace, stocked the fridge with atkins friendly food, have plently of water and a few good books to read

You are at the mountain house, snowed in, eating atkins food, reading your book, but the lights just went out and now you can't use the stove, the lights or the heat!

Wrong... We're used to power outages... Back up generator.. Stove is propane, Water is gravity feed and the house is heated with wood and we have a plethora of candles...

AND.. Granted... you are there, kids and all. Except they all have the flu, complete with Explosive decompression.. (that was my sons name for diarrhea) ... You get to take care of everyone for the week that they are all down sick. As soon as they are well... you get it too. But as usual no one has time to take care of Mom when she's sick...so you continue to cook, clean and take care of yourself.

(Dang.... that was really evil. Even for me)

I wish every member of the board has a wonderful Thanksgiving and we all stay strong and no one has a slip...


( Go ahead and mess with that wish.. I dare ya. I double dog dare ya!)

Every member of the board has a wonderful Thanksgiving and we all stay strong and no one has a slip but.... with all this success, the major food suppliers lose money from the loss of revenue from their 'sugar and high carb' foods not selling... we are plunged into a resession, factories close, stores close from not selling their inventory... people lose their jobs and congress passes a law requiring everyone to eat their daily dose of sugar.
I wish I could retire comfortably.

Granted - You retire, take a nice long trip, catch up on all your reading and long forgotten projects... then you run out of ways to spend your time, and out of boredom you start volunteering for this and that. Everyone is so pleased with your freely given help, they talk about you, and you find yourself nominated with fine recommendations for prestigious club comittee positions you can't possibly refuse. You soon realise you now comfortably work 80+ hours a week for free in the leisure time of your retirement...


I wish there were a free internet provider I could get online at home with, cuz I gotta sign off now...

Hehhehheh...

I wish I could be a weatherman and be wrong all the time and still get paid.

Granted...but now you must work 80-hour weeks, trying to correct your mistakes according to actual weather outside, and then face fed-up activists on your way home every day.

Oh, and Shining Star, you just found the daycare you sought - unfortunately, you don't realize that the center just lost their license last month, the primary loving care provider has to take off an hour per day to go to rehab leaving your kid with her psycho 10-year-old, and DSS has the place under investigation for reported hazardous/unsafe conditions....

ummm...
I wish ms DS and DM had an "OFF" switch to use when they push my buttons!
