    Re: Summer Time

Interesting huh? I doubt it'll save any money. They did a study on a foreign country (and of course I can't remember which one) that was on a DST plan for 25 years. They didn't save any money at all, so they just went back to their "normal" clocks.

I just enjoy more daylight! It's still cold, so it's not summer to me yet. But I'll settle for spring.

        Re: Summer Time

Can't say I mind a bit - there's an hour more daylight to enjoy once I am off from work. DS likes having less bright suligh hitting him when he gets up for school, too.

                  Re: Summer Time

Can i be the one here to whine? I'm a server admin for a large it firm, the early daylight savings time has been nothing but a pain in the butt and enormous nuisance, it's been an ongoing saga of software patches and neverending meetings to discuss them... I also had to sit up until the time change on Sunday at 2a.m then sit and test all of the servers, taking well over an hour.

today we have discovered a small glitch in one of the email programs causing an issue. More meetings, more uproar, more time spent dealing with that extra hour, when i have alot of other work to get done.

I'm cranky and annoyed by the whole thing. though i do also like the extra hour of daylight..for me (and many others) it wasn't worth it.
