Ok call me obsessive, but it drives me crazy to see someone type loose when they mean lose. lol LOSE is to lose something.. such as weight or your mind. LOOSE means something is not tight. Sorry! I just had to get that out. Nothing to see here. Carry on.

    Re: lose vs loose

I'm new and I have seen the word reversed on the board a couple of times. I actually thought it was a special term like "WOL" or "TOM". And I got a little excited thinking you were going to tell me the special meaning.....LOL

It drives me batty. But now that I've said that, I'll probably make some typo and you'll all come to my journal and laugh at me.

I mean, Lyssie will come to my journal and laugh and me regardless, but...

It doesn't bother me at all.....but that's because I make spelling errors all the time. I visit the internet to enjoy myself and I try not to worry about small silly things like that.

It bothers me too, I always notice spelling errors like that.

(But of course, like Julie, I will be making them myself now that I've mentioned it!)

                Re: lose vs loose

This is just a giggle! Of all the similar words out there, these are the ones that trip me up the most: lose, loose, and loss.

                Lose, losing, loser (z)

                Loose, loosen, loosening, loosened (s)

                Loss...lostest the mostest (t)
