  • Most complicated film ever?

I saw 'Primer' recently, about time travel, which I kind of enjoyed, but it made my brain hurt - it was so complex! I've seen it twice now, but still not sure I totally get it... There's loads on the internet explaining it, but I wanted to figure it out on my own.

    Has anyone else seen it?

What films have you found hard to get?

Vanilla Sky with Tom Cruise. After watching it once I was thinking "huh"? After the second time it made sense though.

Me too on the Vanilla Sky thing. I was numb after...don't think I could have sat through it again to translate. Haven't seen Primer. I remember I kind of had that WTH feeling after Crying Game and the Piano too....not so much because they were complicated in as much as made me think "How have I come to have nothing better to do than spend 2 hours watching this.."

I quite liked Vanilla Sky and all my friends mocked me about it mercilessly - they all thought it was total rubbish. Haven't seen the Crying Game or Piano.

Mission Impossible was another one I didn't get, I hope that doesn't make me totally dense.

Vanilla Sky was a mindtrip, and Baarb, I was TOTALLY confused by Mission Impossible...I hope we're *both* not totally dense.

I was also confused by Silent Hill, but I fell asleep during part of it so probably that's why I'm confused.

                I LOVED The Crying Game!
