    Pray for those at Virgina Tech

    Such a sad world we live in today. Lets come together and pray for the victims families and pray for those that were injured for a full recovery!!!!

    It sure is..My niece wants to go there in 3 years from now..Too close to home... I feel so bad for the victims families

      It's a horrific crime. they're now saying there are 32 dead.


      I'm confused as to how this happened over a span of 2 hours without the school being locked down.

        I didn't know what this post was referring to, so I went on MSN. How horrible. I can't understand how someone could do something so horrific. It makes me ill.

          i'm with you....i am a unc-chapel hill grad...we often played Va Tech......neighbors. THESE ARE JUST CHILDREN!!!!! who could do such a thing?

            cnn is reporting that the gunman (who is confirmed as one of the dead) is a student there. though i think cnn has a bad habit of reporting things before they confirm them. The President is apparently going to make a statement from the white house at 4:15 and the university is holding a press conference at 4:30. I guess there will be more detail then.

            it's just awful...

              I've just seen this on the news - those poor poor people.

                  My heart goes out to the victims families. We suffered a school shooting at westside jonesboro a few years back. When will these horrendous acts ever stop?

                      Well since I posted earlier.. My husband found out his chiropractors son is okay...- But now we are waiting word on a cousins son... He goes to classes in that building. The wind here is horrible today and that is in the mountains so there are phone issues with cells... Of course I live in VA and its a very popular college.. Who would ever think that you send your child to College to learn and they end up dead...

                        It really does hit too close to home. My DH graduated from VT and I visited him there often. My heart goes out to all the victums and their families.
