The cynic in me would think this was another day invented by greetings card companies. Would that be a fair assumption of mine?

If I told you that I don't regret a thing that made me smile, would that be better?

                Re: Secretary's day

We got flowers and a nice card today. It was sufficient. I mean it probably is just another day for the greeting card company's so anything is better than nothing. LOL

I opted to take my secretary out for a nice steak lunch. She also got a gift card to her fav dept. store. I guess I survived. thank goodness it rained and I had time on my hands this morning to get her gift card.

Wow calling someone a secretay here is considered very non-politically correct. Here it is adminstrative professionals day or something similar.

We now call them admin. assistants, i actually hadn't heard anyone called a secretary in years!

I'm surprised in the US it's still secretary's day.

Sadie it is administrative professionals day here too. I have never claimed to be politically correct, She has been my secretary for eleven years and that is what she likes to be called. To each his own. Sorry if I offended any administrative professionals.
