Lol wasn't trying to single anybody out or anything. Just one of those things you know? Do you have a pet peeve of your own? Maybe people that complain about multiple punctuation marks?

          Some of my pet peeves:

*using the wrong homophone (your instead of you're, there instead of their, etc.)
          *talking with your mouth full
*people who take FOREVER to eat a meal, usually because they're telling some ridiculously long story (uh, like my boyfriend. Good thing I love him!)
*not going the speed limit or 5mph over--I'm convinced it's the people who drive SLOW that cause the accidents...

My biggest peeve and I am sorry if anyone on here does it, but its.....

Adults that cycle on the pavement (sidewalk for my American friends). I can understand children doing it, as its safer, but Adults! they should know better........

Thanks for letting me get that off of my chest.

My biggest pet peeve has to do with pets. It kills me the way people will just throw out animals on dirt roads just to get rid of them when they have tired of them or they have gotten to big. Do these people not have a conscience?

One of my pet peeves that comes to mind is when people say: "at this moment in time". What's wrong with "now"???? (There, Grant... I've just put in unnecessary punctuation marks... a bad habit of mine. I confess, I totally adore abusing punctuation and do it all the time!)

At this particular moment in time you're extra punctuation doesn't seem to be bothering me. To be honest though I can see from how you look in your picture you are a smart person so I'd think you would know better!!

                    Re: Pet Peeves

Oh I also dislike the use of the word "actually" in a conversation.

Me - "can I speak to mr x please?"
switchboard - "Sorry, he's actually not in at the moment".....

Ok, so whats wrong with just saying "sorry he's not in at the moment". ..

LOL, i actually make a point on a call now that if someone says it to me, I will make sure I put the word actually in my next sentence. "ok, I'll actually call him again tomorrow".

                    Pointless words!

                    Sally I agree with you!!!!!!

Aren't there just so many sayings full of pointless words! But suddenly I can't think of any of them!

I'm also not very keen on "passed away" and "left us" instead of "dead"...but that's touchy ground for many, I suppose. I just like to call a spade a spade.

Leaving the toilet seat up! I know, I know, a typical but it drives me crazy!

                            Toothpaste in the sink, GRRRRRRRRR.

Using no punctuation whatsoever, i know i'm not perfect but at least i can string a sentence together.

Backstabbers/two faced people - what's the point? if i dont like someone, i ignore them, i dont portray myself to be a friend to them.

My biggest ever is when you're in a bar and someone will lean over to put a cigarette out in the ashtray on your table and not do it properly! GRRRRR

People who smoke. As an entertainer, my question would be, why do people smoke and blow the smoke in my direction instead of where they are smoking?

People who have 3,000 watt speakers in their cars. You know the ones, you can hear them coming up the street a mile away.

Here's a nice one. People who continue to do 'home improvements' outside your bedroom window (cutting floor tiles, very noisy) at 3:00 am.

Grant, I usually use alot of punctuation marks, but please note, I have not. I think I'm very guilty of that. haha. sorry buddy. (now see, one would really have worked there, my hand was shaking, hovering over the ' ' key. Fill in the blank. lol.
