Let's see....
**We found our home and we're moving in the middle of May!
**We've wrapped up the snow plowing season and when it was all said and done, we did the biggest business year that we've ever done!
**The kids are doing great...and.... oh yeah, .... I got married yesterday.
ROFLMAO.
Yep. Seriously!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ryan and I got married yesterday!!!
K...now pick your jaws back up off the keyboard. heh heh heh
We snuck away to a hotel last night - my eyes popped open and he's still snoring away. LOL So here I am. I had to come and tell you all!!! I'm so excited and so happy, you guys. And the kids? I'm fairly certain they'd have left me if I didn't marry this man. They love him as much as I do!
Yesterday he presented the girls with beautiful silver bracelets before we got married and proposed to them too, asking them to be his daughters and they lept into his arms. The bracelets have their new last name on the top and "My Girl" on the back side of them They were absolutely beaming and it made my heart about jump out of my chest.
We decided some time ago that we were going to haunt each other into our old age, but really he didn't propose until Thursday night (the 26th) and it was a done deal by 2:15pm yesterday (the 28th). We talked about it Thursday night and decided to just get it done without the pomp and circumstance and to make sure that Sammy-Jammy stays covered (medical) - so we did! I was standing in court to get the required 5 day waiting period waivered Friday morning and we were all in court Saturday saying "I do."
It's been such a whirlwind - but I haven't stopped grinning - and neither have the kids or our close family and friends. I thought they'd give us he|| for it, but it's been just the opposite. They have seen what an amazing person Ryan is and they've seen the effect he's had in our lives. They have been nothing but happy and excited for us and I love them all even more for it.
So...... while I know it's been a million years since I've checked in and let you all know how I'm doing...it's going to be a bit longer for the rest of the details. I have a warm, snuggly, sleepy husband to attend to...and that's exactly what I'm fixin' to do.
HUGS!!!
