I didn't know who else to tell this to...So I'm coming here to vent.
Now, I'm leaving my company to go work for MTV and this Friday is my LAST day. The company I'm at took it very well and they are all happy for me / excited....however....
There is one man we work with. He is gay (not like it matters) but maybe that's why he felt he could say this comment to me, but if you ask me it was the Bitchiest thing anyone could say.
ReadY??? He says, "I hope your going to buy some trendier clothes and go on a diet because your going to have big competition there"....um WHAT?!!!!!
WHO SAYS THAT?!!!!!!!!!! The most ironic part is that HE is the one who needs to lose a few pounds. Me? - SURE, I need to lose weight for ME b/c I'm very critical of myself but most people think I'm nuts when I tell them I"m on a diet. (Yet, I really really need this atkins diet to trim up and get more confident) - but c'mon, that was just rude. I don't care if I'm stick thin or obese - that sentence shouldn't be said to ANYBODY.
He must be jealous b/c on our company trip - all the guys he was into were hitting on me.
Ok. I'm done. I don't know if he gave me more incentive to stay on my diet to be in the best damn shape I can be OR to eat what I want b/c I'm upset..
I'll stick the course but DAMN him.
