So, if 1/2 the jailmates end up with a sudden illness, would they too be allowed early release with electrical device after a judge specifically ordered them NOT to have one, as in this case? Sounds like a loophole. I thought they had infirmaries for inmates?

I found this funny from that link provided above. "She's using this time to reflect on her life, to see what she can do to make the world better and hopefully, in my opinion, to change the attitudes that exist about her among many people," Hutton said after visiting Hilton.

If that is what she did for 3 days she must not have much to "reflect" on and if she thinks getting out early because of who she is will make anyones attitudes change about her, boy is she wrong.

I can imagine what the house looks like too. 'house arrest' in a mansion with your housekeepers, private chefs, swimming pools jacuzzi's etc is hardly hard time.

I am picturing that she had a mental breakdown would be interesting to see if I am right. I would be balling like a baby if I ever went to jail and they certainly wouldn't let me out....People in jail have all sorts of illness and diseases and some certainly die from their illnesses inside jail. SPECIAL TREATMENT......

I know this might sound stupid, but what makes Paris Hilton a "celebrity"?

Paul McCartney was a Beatle and a good singer/song-writer--he's a celebrity.
John Glenn and Buzz Aldren were astronauts---they're celebrities.
Lawrence Olivier was a great actor--he's a celebrity.

But other than being a Hilton, what has she done to deserve the celebrity?

Yeah, I know her family is mega rich and that one of her uncles was married to Elizabeth Taylor and she divorced him because he was a physically abusive drunk. But other than that....why is she important?
