Its a toss up between shaving gel and shaving foam though.

Most men in rich countries shave with an M3 or equivalent. In less prosperous areas the old safety razor still reigns.

I just guessed you were just an average Englishman, Rich.

But foam . . . you ought to be ashamed of yourself! Might as well use an aerosol whipped cream.

I have a mach 3 at my flat, where i have a can of shaving foam

and I have a 2nd mach 3 at my gf's house where I have a can of shaving gel.

Well, when it's present time send her off to Crabtree And Evelyn in Bath for a nice brush and some cream. You will be surprised at the difference, even if you stick with the M3

£25 for brush!! £40!!! - how much do you pay for those wretched blades? And a good brush will last years.

(Even a cheap brush from Boots would be a step in the right direction.)
