I am trying to get my Best Friend to do atkins..she is on what I like to call south weight atkins sommersizing...depending on the day she is trying all of the diets together..also today she went on and on about cayenne pepper...and then sent me this link http://www.nutrasanus.com/cayenne.html.which is kind of if-ee.. I know I cant force her to do this but you would think my weightloss would be proof enough..not to mention that I do not deprive myself of anything and am not suffering with this wol...

Here's what I know about cayenne pepper. It improves digestion, it improves circulation, it stops bleeding. If you're bleeding, even if you sever an artery, pour some cayenne pepper on that baby, and the bleeding will stop pronto. Supposedly it can stop a heart attack too. If someone goes into cardiac arrest you can squirt some cayenne pepper extract, (it's actually called tincture, and you probably won't find it in stores, have to make your own) down their throat and their heart should start pumping again. I don't know if it's true, but I'd sure as **** try it.

              Re: cayenne pepper

A spanish phrase is very truth: "Lo que pica cura" The spicey heals...
Well recently I read an article in a healthy magazine, very serious...
An American study has shown that the capsaicina in charge of the spicey flavor, of peppers, and chili peppers, is able to reduce the levels of adipocitos and to restrain hiperlipidemia.

              WHY?
Well, capsaicina inhibes the proliferation of preadipocites 3T3-L1 (non mature fat cells) but it stimulates also the "apoptosis", cell death.

              SO.... Let's eat peppers!

              Reference: http://www.consumer.es/web/es/alimen.../17/163798.php
If you can read spanish, though.

              My goal:
              I started Atkins: May 29th
              Breast: 90-90-90cm
              Waist: 78-72-66cm
              Hips: 94-87-87cm
              Body type:5' 2" inches (159cm)
I dont think I want to lose more weight, just complete correctly the phases. I LOVE ATKINS!
