Lots of flooding - again.

I think Rich could be under water!! lol I think Wiltshire has been hit pretty bad!

I drove through a couple of rather large puddles on the way home from work but nothing I'd call a flood! but some poor guy walking along the road got totally drenched by a bus passing, I felt sooo sorry for him!

there has been a lot of flooding in Wiltshire today. We have had 2.5 inches of rain today, which is apparently the equivalent to a whole month of normal rain fall for a usual July.

Fortunately I wasnt flooded, but the sand bags are out in the high street in front of the shops, so I guess they are planning for the worse.

No problem. If I remember the geography correctly the river would have to come up a long way to flood the High Street by the bridge, and the whole park would have to flood if the top section of the High Street were be under water.

We have seen some amazing weather.

The sand bags are out, but the high street isnt flooded. Not yet anyway.

The worst places to be hit yesterday, were Reading, Basingstoke, Oxford and the surrounding areas.

I'm right near Basingstoke and we had it pretty bad. Some roads were totally flooded. The trains to london and the tube were badly affected - I thought I was going to be stuck there overnight but it cleared up fast in the end.
