He was stunned.. and asked. " why?" I answered... " Why do you occasionally bring me flowers?... Because I wanted to give you a gift" He opened it... he said that no one had ever just given him a gift.. Ever. I was floored.. As a child my Mother would occasionally surprise us kids with some little gift for no reason. He opened it and tears welled up in his eyes he said he was overwhelmed.. So then so was I...
