    Any lawyers? Anyone who knows if I have any rights in this situation? Please help :(

    Hi

    Of course im going to contact an attorney or someone in the morning but I just happened to run across a boyfriend of a family member of mine who put a picture of me on his myspace account. He manipulated the picture very badly, and put a raunchy caption to go with it. Its still clear that its me. But im just wondering. Since i've contact myspace and there is nothing they can do about it, they wont delete it because its not a copywrited picture which would be against the rules of myspace. So....is there really anything that I can do? Or do I just have to deal with the public humiliation?

    I cant believe this is happening. Any advice would be wonderful, thanks everyone.

    I'm afraid i dont know the answer, but I will bump it for you just in case anyone has over looked it.

      but the next morning i did call a lawyer and the answer it YES, i can! so yay for me!

          Good luck in your getting your pic taken off. How horrid that someone should do that. Would this chap not take it off when you asked?

              Well i asked him to remove it many many times but he wouldnt. because he's a jack @$$, lol. but whatever! i've printed the pic and all the threatening comments he's made and i've got a load of crap in this file and just waiting for that date!!!! he's so screwed. thanks everyone for the input

                  Yes you absolutely definitely can get it removed and you can also sue him.
                  There's been quite a lot of high profile cases with exactly the same situation as you.
