Moving on from my question about how many countries that each of you have visited.

How many different US states have you visited? And can you name them?

For me, I have never been to America at all. Obviously will do one day, but not to date.

Alabama-fort mitchell, seale
Georgia- fort benning, altlanta
Tennessee-graceland! and counce
Arkansas- marietta? hot springs, moro, little rock
Texas-dallas, houston, pasadena, clear lake, galveston, livingston, goodrich, spring, humble, crawford (before the president moved there), waco, bellmeade, lacy lakeview, mineola
Alaska-wasilla, palmer, anchorage
Idaho-pocatello
Utah-drove through
Washington - seattle(airport only)
Florida- panama city
Oklahoma- some weird name I can't remember, indian ish
Mississippi- quitman, meridian
Arizona-tucson, catalina
Hawaii (too young to remember it though)
I think that's all.

I was born in and have never lived anywhere except Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I have driven to Texas on the left, driven through Mississippi and Alabama to vacation in Florida many times, and drove to Stone Mountain, Georgia, last year. I flew to Las Vegas in 1991 (and got married while I was there!)

So that means I have been to 6 states... am a little embarassed that young Emma, who lives in the UK, has been to as many states as I have. I don't get out much...

I have lived in California, South Carolina, Georgia, Oklahoma, Florida and North Carolina. I have visited (meaning: actually stayed the night) in Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, Arizona, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Missouri, Illiniois, Indiana, Oregon, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Hawaii, and Wisconsin.

One of the *benefits* to having a military dad and a military hubbie, I guess.

This is easier for me .... I HAVE NOT BEEN to Washington, Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota or South Dakota. I have been to the other 42 continental states and Hawaii and Alaska!
