Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Conneticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennslyvania, Maryland, Virginia, South & North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Nebraska, Iowa, Oklahoma, Texas, Illinois, Indiana, Washington D.C., Tennessee & I'll be going to Mississippi sometime this week. Have driven through all of them, lived in 4 of them, been to airports in 10 of them. Going to gamble in one of them...Mississippi.

When we went on vacation 4 years ago we passed through 13 diffent states. We were headed to PA from Louisiana so we went through Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia then PA, left there after a week headed to Minnesota, passed through Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, and then Minnesota. Coming home we traveled through Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas,Mississippi then home. Mind you we didn't get to stop and visit each state but it was neat going through and my daughter who was 9 at the time kept a journal of what time we entered and exited each state. Think the shortest was going through a state was like 11 minutes catching the tip of one of the states heading home.

As far as states actually visiting and spent more than one night in, I have been to Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Texas, Tennessee, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Minnesota, Arkansas.

Along with actually vacation time, Arkansas, Mississippi and Tennessee are regular hurricane evacuation spots for me.

I need to head West sometime, a dream vacation for me is taking 2 weeks and driving over to California, stopping along the way in Texas, Las Vegas and then hitting the California coastline.

NY - just an overnight stay in NY City on my way to Canada - I saw nothing but the inside of a poor hotel and taxi drivers shouting at each other!

I'm with Jo. I'll post the ones I've NOT been to. Washington, Montana, North Dakota, Oklahoma, West Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Arkansas, Alaska. Been to all the others via 2 drives cross country helping friends move west. Have lived in PA, MD, MA and NY.

Lived for 2 years in Manhattan.
Visited Morristown, New Jersey for training.
Spent 13 weeks in Texas, for training with Nokia.

Sad thing is...I've barely travelled in Canada, other than my own province ..I've only visited one other which is Quebec. I really should do some travelling on this side of the border.
