Easily - my son. He wasn't planned, and I was scared to death - but he's easily the best "mistake" I ever made.

Well it's kind of personal but............... My DH!!!!! I was going through a long drawn out divorce with my first husband who was trying to talk me out of the final court date(and almost succeeding) even though the reason for the divorce was his infidelity. Everyone said I should forgive him. He was good looking, he was wealthy, he sent gifts every day, everyone loved him and said I was nuts.
I met my current dh 10 days before the final hearing. Everyone said I was making a huge mistake divorcing my 1st hubby. Everyone said my current dh was a rebound and I was making a huge mistake! 16 years later he is the best mistake I ever made. I'd make it 100 times over! Gladly. I thank God everyday he fell into my life~!"I REFUSE TO BE DEFEATED"Comment

my best mistake...
dad tried his darndest to get me to not marry dh! 21 years later... dad is so sorry for all that he put me through... loves my husband and thinks he's the best thing ever...

Hmmm, I don't have any that pop up at the moment, Most of my mistakes cost me dearly....and surely learning the lesson from them are considered good, but to say my best mistake? I just honestly don't know of one.30/F/5'6"

Aaaah...I love all your stories!!!
Hmm....well, I have a ton of things I can look back on and say they were mistakes, but then again like most of you, they were lessons in life.
But I have to say falling off the wagon this past spring was a huge mistake, but a mistake worth going through to change my life and lose 22 pounds in 5 months
