how'd you get your name?

I was thinking about some of the names around here and wondered how you guys came up with them. Mine came from my granny. She's been calling me that since I was a baby. She has a southern twang and when she says meaty it sounds like "maideh" lol. Whose next?

In tribute to my mother, her name was Dream. So I added the of145 so that I felt her presence with me on my quest for health. If she were alive, I'm sure she'd have shared each step of this journey with me cheering me on. I knew by using her in my username, it would keep me focused to succeed.

Well... I use variations of the sea change handle elsewhere online. Predictably, I had an enormous sea change in my personal life, at the age of 47. Atkins and my weight loss was yet another sea change for me. I also love the Shakespeare sea change song from The Tempest.

DiscoLemonade is a term found in the song Sex & Candy by Marcy Playground. It's why Brady calls me Disco Superfly.
