Great question!

I'd say Newsnight, Panorama, Dispatches, urmm, The West Wing, any kind of nature programme and Channel 4 news.

That doesn't stop me from watching the dumbest ones too - like What Not to Wear, You Are What You Eat and gross gratuitous operations.
