My sis had some kind of oven, I think she could even actually make something with it.

Yup that probably was an Easy Bake oven. You could really make stuff...like little cake mixes and cookies. If I remember correctly the cooking was slow as it cooked it with the heat of a bulb...lol. I think it was a Betty Crocker Easy Bake Oven.

I had a lite brite, but my sister vacuumed up most of the colored pieces. And I had an easy bake oven that dad bought me at a garage sale. He would never let me plug it in though. He thought it was dangerous. LOL

                Reminds me of a song:

                What rolls down the stairs
                alone or in pairs
                rolls over your neighbors dog
                it fits on your back
                is good for a snack
                it's log! it's log! it's log!

                It's Lo-og
                It's lo-og
                It's big, it's heavy it's wood
                It's lo-og
                it's lo-og
                it's better than bad
                it's good!

I am still the etch-a-sketch stair making champion at my house.

Not to undermine my etch-a sketch skills in any way, all you had to do with the magic window was turn it over. It would amuse me for hours. I wish they still made them so that I could try it out on my kids. Some dumb destructive kid probably figured out how to get the sand out and choked on it or something. Now a whole new generation has to suffer.

We had etch a sketch in England too! I used to love that.
