Yup that probably was an Easy Bake oven. You could really make stuff...like little cake mixes and cookies. If I remember correctly the cooking was slow as it cooked it with the heat of a bulb...lol. I think it was a Betty Crocker Easy Bake Oven.

I had a lite brite, but my sister vacuumed up most of the colored pieces. And I had an easy bake oven that dad bought me at a garage sale. He would never let me plug it in though. He thought it was dangerous. LOL
I forgot about one of my favs and it was so cheap.. A Slinky, remember them, I could walk my down the stairs. I was the Slinky Pro of my 3rd grade class.
Not to undermine my etch-a sketch skills in any way, all you had to do with the magic window was turn it over. It would amuse me for hours. I wish they still made them so that I could try it out on my kids. Some dumb destructive kid probably figured out how to get the sand out and choked on it or something. Now a whole new generation has to suffer.
