I've met a handful of politicians including the former President Bush and his wife, Barbara and Doro, their daughter. I met Carly Simon at a wedding at Martha's Vineyard. And several years ago, I met Linda Ronstadt at a hotel bar.

My husband and I were big into the music scene when we lived in Detroit. We went back stage and met a lot of performers.
I met Michael Franti from Spearhead. He did a small show in Detroit, and walked around hugging everyone in the audience when he sang "Sometimes". After the show we chatted with him. He told us about how his music used to be about hating the white race, and one day he woke up and realized he was a racist and that he needed to change, and now his songs are more about love and good things.
We met the guys from Blackeyed Peas before Fergie, and before they were mainstream. My husband told one of them (william I think) that he loved their music, and was glad that they didn't "sell out". The guy replied "I wish we could sell out, no one wants to buy it", and look at where they are today. We don't listen to them much anymore.
I met Aretha Franklin, Kid Rock, Etta James, and many others. Claudia Schiffer, Debbie Gibson, and I used to do massage for some of the Detroit Lions, but I'm not allowed to say who.
Oh, I waited on Alton Brown & Bob Seger when I was a bartender. I could have lived without meeting them for sure.
