    Thanks Disco...I have been following this story...scary crap..we Have a River that this town (including myself) center around...actually it is dirty..has gators..just pure nasty...but every day..there are boaters ..fishing..jet skiing..tubing...and swimming.. I am feeling pretty grossed out now...don't think I will get in River anytime soon...

      Oh yes... I am the crazy Mom who has been torturing my kid that if he doesn't stay out of the pond, an amoeba is going to come along and eat his brain. My son thinks I'm nuts. But I'd rather be crazy than sorry. This whole thing has terrified me.

        We're pretty freaked out too... we go to Lake Havisu ALL the time! but I've always avoided the shallow water under the bridge... seemed kinda gross there... mama knows best yet again... We like it where the water is deep and cold... good thing too!
        Well, one more thing to worry about... da** amoeba!
