Birthday Party Help

    Birthday Party Help

    Hi guys! I just wanted your advice and opinions. I am planning my sons 8th birthday party. Currently we are in a small townhouse so we are having the party out at the zoo. The zoo requires us to pay for every single adult, child, and toddler in attendance and also have imposed a capacity limit on us. I am not made of money. Is it rude of me to state the following directly on the invitation:

    We cannot accommodate parents or siblings

    I know most parents drop their kids off at this age, but there are always a few who stay and bring their other kids. The way the pricing goes, even one extra person could add an extra 50 bucks to the total. What have you all done in the past. Thanks for your help!

    I would state something in the party invite.. Because of the high cost of this party. Only the person invited is allowed to stay if you welcome to stay if you pay $$$$ amount..

    I personally never dropped my 8 year old off...but would be willing to pay whatever it was to stay there..

        I don't think that would be bad to put.

        I've pretty much did the same for my sons 9th birthday party. He wanted to go to an amusement park so I had to be as frugal as possible!! On the invitations I put that parents and siblings are welcome to stay but they'll have to pay for themselves.

        Keep in mind, MANY people can't afford for parents and siblins and honestly, I think a LOT of parents want to drop of their kids but are usually not sure of the protocall. I think they'll understand!!

          I like that better then mine.. I would say Parents and Siblings are welcome to stay but it will cost you $ amount...
