    MySpace is NOT for teens - it's more for networking for bands etc. Facebook is more for friends & people from your past

      I have a myspace account. It is set to "private" so no one can see it unless I approve you to be my friend. I've heard of Facebook but haven't seen it. I've reconnected with old high school friends through myspace and we're getting together in November. We haven't seen each other in 17 years.

        No FaceBook yet...but college aged daughter has one...she is the one that turned me on to myspace...all my children always send me smartelec remarks..they think they re so funny...Ha..Ha...but will check out faceBook...thought it was for college students only....hhhmmm

          Well I got Facebook a few days ago and I haven't had a chance to figure it out yet. It's a little confusing at first LOL. I just barely figured out how to add friends and stuff...
          Myspace is so easy but of course I've been using that foreva.

          Started Dec 2005 and lost 105 lbs by mid 2006, maintained loss for the most part until 2009...then really let go & gained some back... lol

          (Induction= only 6lbs but lost 10 inches! yay)

              From what I know Facebook is HUGELY popular in Canada (especially) and Britain, Myspace is more American. My teenage stepdaughter, all her friends and all my teenage/20's family all prefer Facebook over Myspace. I think it's a geographical thing....apparently there are more Canadian Facebook users than any other nationality. I've met people right back to grade 1 on facebook it's kind of freaky. Though i've also got Rich on my friends list...so apparently it is international!

                I have both. I like Myspace better though. I keep in contact with old friends on Myspace so I guess thats why.

                  yes Jen, i definitely found more Brits on facebook, all i have on myspace really is internet buddies, on facebook i have friends from school that i havent seen in 16 years, cool!

                    At least here in the U.S., you could only join Facebook if you had a .edu email address. so if you were in school. They changed this only a year or so ago.

                      yep that was the same for everyone, it was a college thing but then they opened it up.

                            uh no, its not necessarily the comments or messages... its just, yeah.... im amazed at how many of my old school buddies are on there! and im addicted to poker even though i suck at it!

                              I love playing poker, especially on FB. Next time we are both around at the same time, send me an invite to play at the same table.

                                I only have a Myspace, havent really cheaked out Facebook yet, heard about it and know a lot of my friends have it but Myspace is my addiction lol I dont need another one.
