Last year I started collecting antique tins for my kitchen, started with one i found in the house belonging to my husbands grandmother. I have only about 5 so far. I like the for storing things like tea bags, dog biscuits etc, they're much more interesting than plain canisters.

My husband is an Elvis fan, and does not intentionally collect elvis things..but people keep buying him things for birthdays/xmas etc. So he is starting to get quite a collection. We had no idea what to do with the stuff, so we started putting it in the spare bedroom at the cottage, that we know call the Graceland room. He's got everything from a full size plaster bust, to license plates and singing figurines and 2 poster sized sketches and paintings. I really didn't want this stuff in my living room LOL so we figured the cottage is a fun place for it.

Horrificly ugly stuffed animals. I have around 20 or so.

I myself don't collect anything but old money. My dh however, has about 2000 comic books in a big cedar trunk. That trunk is unmovable. I wish he'd sell them.

I'm helpless in Sephora, Ulta, and in Macys and Norstroms cosmetics departments. I truly am. I *love* being a girl!

And that doesn't even begin to touch on the perfume and lotion.

I have found about five gallons of marbles while working in the fields since I was about ten. The marbles are at least 70 to 125 years old.

That's so cool Brady, I've always had a facination with marbles since i was a kid.

Brook, how long do you keep eyeshadows etc for? I've heard you should only keep them a few months, but when you have a collection like that you'd end up throwing out half of them before you could even use them! I love makeup too..but not that much LOL.

I thought I had a better picture of them, that is only about a third of my collection.
I have been offered serious money for them but I would never sell them because I have great memories of searching for them with my Dad. I have given a few of them away over the years to special people.

Our newest thing is Pirate stuff.
We collect bar signs and bar other cool stuff, jeep stuff...
I like to collect frogs and turtles...

We have old advertisement tins hanging in our kitchen. That's all we really collect.

I collect Bear figurines I have a lot of them in a glass cabinet hubby bought for me a few years back ............

Oh and hubby collects jeep stuff too, and he has an extensive reproduction tin sign collection in the garage, i forgot about that.

wow Brady that is a LOT of marbles LOL.

I forgot, I collect Cranberry glass and Cape Code glass - the dark red stuff. I have lots and lots of it.
