we don't do this at all..i find it's a very european thing. i used to date a guy who was portuguese, i hated when i had to greet his family and kiss (it was always two cheek), then i was a bridesmaid at my friends greek wedding, that was a kissing nightmare!!!!!Jen, 39, F

Yes... maybe it's a european thing...but you get used to it pretty quickly here; it's not intimate at all. Just different strokes for different folks. My hub's relatives do three kisses at a time, which always catches me out. Dizzy making!

all my friends are lip kissers, just to say goodbye, not hello, unless you havent seen them for a while, if ya dont know them too well its a cheek but that only comes from men, women will generally always smack you on the lips.
The only time cheeks have come into it is with business people at christmas time.
