I actually love the dollar store but no have never asked how much something might be LOL ............ I love the name Poundland! Now as far as money equality goes does it actually come out to a dollar????? We used to have a very high exchange rate with Canada so if we went there it was the 66 cent store which made it seem like a way better deal ......... but now there dollar is slightly stronger then ours .......... just curious.

Down here in North Carolina it's the Dollar Tree.
I've not asked but have looked for the price of things because sometimes you can get three for a dollar--33 cents each, or two for a dollar--50 cents each. If you don't pay attention to the price, you could miss a deal!
The spices in there are KILLER. I normally get all my spices from there because I'm not prepared to pay an arm and a leg in the supermarket for the same thing I can get in that place.

We have a seperate place called the Dollar General. That place sells stuff that is around a dollar. Most of the stuff is really cheaply made though and if you don't hunt, you'll get a bad deal on something that'll break after the first time you use it.
I got quite a few kitchen things though from there at a great price that've proved themselves useful and have had a long life.
