i wish i would have taken some pictures of that awful Black Cloud that was looming over my home this morning (from the Chula Vista Fire) it was Waaaaaaaay Worse than your pictures... this is So Scary! WHEN IS IT GOING TO END???

Yeah me too... wish I had a picture of the eery red glow, the oppressive clouds and ash falling down, but can't capture all that in a pic... smell of smoke so strong it chokes you. and the feeling of panic you try to supress so you don't go off driving like a fool and get in an accident blocking the road for others...
I think my house is fine right now, but fire is far from being under control. hope the weather changes... sometimes the smoke will cause clouds to precipitate and cause rain. gonna do a rain dance right now! lol!

Turns out HopeJOy and I live just miles from each other and we belong to the same gym. I never would have known this but for these fires, lol. We're going to meet up - and not for a bar-b-que!

My prayers are with you. I remember the Oakland Hilll's fire. Smoke could be seen 2-3 cities over and ash fell just as far.
