I thought I was cool with low carb as a lifetime thing, but last night I had a weird dream.
I was sitting down to play a game of poker, when a friend (who is also doing Atkins) came into the room and said in a horrified voice:
"You can't play Poker on OWL!!"
I was really annoyed with her but feeling at the same time she might be right, then she whipped out her book and showed me where it had a list of carbs in various board/card games. Monopoly and draughts were allowed on Induction, scrabble, backgammon and bridge on OWL but Poker was only allowed on maintenence and even then only for those who have a good level of resistance to carbs!! There were others, but those are the ones I remember.
I felt really, really bad and was thinking there is no way I can stick to this - no Poker for pretty much the rest of my life!!! And I don't even play Poker all that often!

Glad it was just a dream. I'd have a hard time giving up poker too. I love it!
