I get rid of them the second they're baggy.

Getting fat again *must* be expensive in as many ways as possible.

This clothes collection has grown over the years as I've lost weight and gained back double each time (and even more so since my thyroid went wacko which I'm sure is from all the excessive dieting over the years). I'm just wondering when (not if) I reach my goal with Atkins will I be afraid to give away those "fat" clothes? I don't consider this a diet but a WOL but it doesn't keep me feeling some of the emotions of being fat (and/or feeling fat) for so many years of my life.

Anyone else who has dealt with this?
Ok.. maybe I'm strange but the minute the clothes are too big I toss them.. OUT THEY GO! That way I have to keep in the clothes that fit or "pay the price"... It's so much more impactfull to me to have to go buy new clothes because I gained weight. I feel the punishment of my sins. If I keep them and can just casually put them back on.. I never feel the repercussions..

      Does that make any sense?

Yes, CATBLUE that makes a lot of sense.

I see that the majority of you throw away those fat clothes. I might have to call a few of you up to wrestle my clothes out of my hands when I reach maintenance.

No problem... I could use the work out!

If this really becomes a way of life for us.. then we'll never need those clothes again... I'm willing to put my money where my mouth is... figuratively speaking of course!

Mine are boxed up now. I need to drop them off at the local women's shelter.
