I need a perfect Christmas gift for my husband and i'm clueless??????? i have about 300 dollars to spend...possibly 400....please give me some good ideas...and please, no gadgets....like tools, airpumps, grill crap, golf clubs, this needs to be original One Of A Kind.....wham him over knock his socks off gift...thanks.

Just posted in Disco's to you. Mine has asked for iPod accessories, a Wii or a Bose Wave Radio. (And the Lego Star Wars Imperial Star Destroyer, but that's probably exclusive to my husband)

My DH loves his satellite radio (Sirius) because he is on the road all the time (truck driver) but we also use it in the house and out by the pool and on vacation.

All I ever really want are electronics. A new digital camera or a new bigger better MP3 player are at the top of my list right now. If you get something like that you can personalize it to make it more special. Pre-load his favorite songs into the MP3 player, or take some risque pictures of yourself on the digital camera so he has a little bit of an extra surprise waiting for him.

lemme tell ya something creative.....and you can have a built in price list. first off give him the $400 dollars........or a portion of it, maybe go out and buy something for $200 so he has something to open. then give him 200 one-dollar bills, crisp and new.

make a price list as follows:
15 minute backrub in morning- $5
foot massage - $3
breakfast in bed - $4
neck massge - $2
disco & grant suggestion - $7
cut toenails - $2
30 minute backrub at night - $7

now you can get as creative as you wish and put up whatever you want in that pricelist. but always know that, if he should request something....you have to deliver!!

i did this, something similar, with my wife....a few years back. i cut up all these little peices of paper and made like 50 coupons that had all the above and other stuff.......like, 60-minute shopping spree at target!! but to make it even more fun......i hid them all around the house LOL.....told my wife, and she was looking around the house all the time trying to find them. she got all excited when she would find one......and this went on for quite some time. i hid these little peices of paper in the refrigerator, in jacket pockets (both summer and winter), under container of laundry detergent, in vanity cabinet in bathroom, under placemats.....i hid a few in her car. now i am thinking further, maybe a guy wouldnt have so much fun looking around the house to find these little coupons...but my wife loved it. there still may be a few more out there that she never found, and you know....whatever they say i would have to deliver upon request!!!

60-minute shopping spree at target!!

We would have to declare bankruptcy if i got this for Xmas. I could do HUGE damage in 60 mins in a Target (or any store for that matter!).

I will second the satellite radio, I've have XM since it came out here..and I can't live without it.

I bought a Garmin GPS when shopping in the States a couple of weeks ago, it was an early Xmas present for my hubby, he loves it. He's not technical at all (i am) so i was worried that it might be too complicated for him..but it's really easy to use. And hopefully we will no longer get lost and have the 'stop and ask someone' arguement. Got it on sale at Walmart for $178.
