I'm getting very excited about Christmas - more than usual this year! So I thought I'd come up with a Christmas quiz.

Please PM me your answers - so we can make it all fair - before the end of Sunday noght. I'll let you know the winners and the answers on Monday!

Please try and answer without googling!!

NB it would be cool if other people did similar quizzes too - this is just stuff off the top of my head and it would be good to get all Christmassy!

9) In 'Miracle on 34th Street' (1994 version) what vital piece of evidence is presented in Court about whether Father Christmas exists or not?

10) What Christmas present has Alexa recieved that was her best ever? Your guess is as good as anyones!

Jacob Marley, the Ghost of Christmas Past, the Ghost of Christmas Present and the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come.

Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donder, Blitxen and Rudolph.

3) In the film 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas' who plays the Grinch?

4) Who wrote the book on which the film is based?

5) In France what do children put out for Father Christmas to put their presents in?

6) What are pigs in blankets?

I was thinking of the UK version - sausages wrapped in bacon (NB can be Atkins legal ), but will also accept what seems to be the US and Canadian versions - sausages baked in pastry.

7) Who played George Bailey in 'It's a Wonderful Life'?

James Stewart

8 ) What language was 'Silent Night' originally written in?

German

9) In 'Miracle on 34th Street' (1994 version) what vital piece of evidence is presented in Court about whether Father Christmas exists or not?

I was after US paper money because of the phrase 'In God we Trust' on which the Court case hangs.

10) What Christmas present has Alexa recieved that was her best ever? Your guess is as good as anyones!

I love these guesses: a holiday, a personalised present from a loved one, that I'm pregnant, etc! But in fact it was a bike when I was 10.

Interesting that you guys call bacon wrapped sausage 'pigs in a blanket'. i've actually neve seen bacon wrapped sausage...though it certainly sounds good!
