I was blonde for years, went brown...didnt look right, and I tried all the browns. I went back blonde but went and had a very expensive colour technician put highlights in it. A full head, I alternate between Tsection and full head 1/3.
If you colour your hair yourself, why not try 1 blonde one month and then a different blonde another month, thats what I used to do and it looked natural, with regards to regrowth you could try the natural highlight look instead of an oll over colour look
