I can't believe MOG was here and I missed her!!!!

I use both the keyboard and the mouse on my laptop all day. freaks my coworkers out when i tell them that, they all have fancy ergonomic keyboards and mice and wrist wrests..no one can believe i don't have carpal tunnel yet LOL. i also balance my phone on my shoulder too instead of using a headset. . I like to live dangerously i guess!

                  Re: Oh Chit

Since I started this thread to complain about my job, let me just say, I was told yesterday by the Division President of the home builder I do work for (my company is owned by the builder, but a separate entity) that I have the highest customer service satisfaction rating in the nation. I am number one out of over 100 offices. I am a one woman show in this office here, I've been in this office for 3 years, and on my own here for 16 months (who's counting?). Would anyone else be irritated that their own supervisor or upper management didn't acknowledge this acheivement? I realize that in the current market they aren't going to give me a raise. But couldn't they say, "thanks" or anything? Am I being childish?

It's when you get a paper cut, you feel the cut, react. Then there is a second or two wait until the red line appears.

Nope, you're not being childish at all. Of all the jobs that I've had in life I can honestly say that even when the job sucked, if my supervisor/boss gave me the occassional pat on the back I was happy. Part of being good at being a boss is to know that when people under you feel appreciated they are usually happier and more productive. It just goes to show that your boss needs to brush up on management skills.

I'm over worked an under appreciated. I need a nap. Probably big brother is watching what I'm typing here and I'll get fired later today.

I'm saying, whenever I get a paper cut. I always go, ouch, look at my finger, and I don't see any blood for the first couple of seconds. Within those two seconds I always find myself thinking "did I actually cut myself or not?". Then I see the sharp line of blood.

It's those couple of seconds of waiting that always get to me.

there is nothing worse than feeling underappreciated. My work doesn't even consider us humans i don't think LOL. we have 'serial numbers' instead of employee numbers. . I'm surprised they don't force us to have sku's tatood on our foreheads.

when i call the helpdesk and they ask for my serial number i'm always surprised they don't follow it up with ' and what model number and part number are you?'

                                Oh and Hi MOG!
