I can imagine it was...I was a corporate travel consulatant for 3 years, luckily i worked for a big financial company not an agency, but it gave me insight into the travel industry...really not the glamorous job people seem to think it is. I didn't really meet alot of people that were happy working in any part of that industry.
Oh and that too was the worst job i've ever had. Booking corporate trips for spoiled rich executives? Never again!
Yep, I worked in the Advantage Platnium dept. We only dealt with our customers who flew all the time, like the million milers. Some of them acted like they owned the company, but they weren't as bad as the supervisors, they're the ones that made it miserable. The money and the perks were really good, but in the end it wasn't worth the stress and resulting health issues the stress caused.
