Hi JEC, nice to see you.

I don't know if we're going to be able to do any gardening at all this year. We're in a severe draught here, they just tightened our water restrictions as of today, no more outside water use whatsoever. If they bust you its 1,000 dollar fine for the first offense and they shut off your water on the second! We are going to run out of usable water by summer if we don't get some serious rain soon.

We're looking into buyin rain barrels but they're hard to find around these parts right now, and we don't really know if we'll even get enough rain to make them useful. I'm pretty bummed about the whole situation.

Hey Jimmie! We're in severe drought here in Georgia also. I won't grow alot but a little garden. You know what I did last year? After I had a bath I would leave the water in the tub and take the water outside in a bucket to water the tomatoes and peppers. Sorry for the hijack Karen!
