Soap Operas...anyone?

    Soap Operas...anyone?

    I'm not sure if this has been brought up but does anyone watch any soaps? I've watched The Young and The Restless since I was a kid and at home *cough* sick *cough*. I still watch it to this day so probably about 20 years? lol

    Y&R is supposed to be the top soaps but I have never really saw anyone outside of fan boards mention they watch it. *scratches head*. It's pretty funny because my husband was off work for a week and he KNOWS that I watch it. So he didn't jack with me much about it but I found it funny just how much he knows about Y&R from all my years of watching it.

    Guiding Light fan here... I DVR it every day! Have been watching it for over 20 years now Used to watch Y&R but when I went away to college didn't get that channel so had to switch to Guiding Light

      I watch Days Of Our Lives..I watched it with my mom when I was in elementary school and started watching it again about a year ago lol I Tivo it everyday and watch it whenever my boyfriends not home cause he always makes fun of me lol

          Days fan here! However I stopped watching several yrs ago and am trying to catch back up. I have figured almost everything out except what happened to jack jennifer and abby and jack jr?

            lol Jack, Jennifer and Jack Jr. moved to England for some newspaper job months ago and Abby if I remember right went off to college she just kind of disappeared.

                      I've watched soaps on and off since I was a kid also..I remeber getting off the bus and running in to watch Guiding Light and Dark shadows..omg that was forever ago!!! I still love Josh and Reva there my favorites!!

                          I'm so out of the soap opera loop that I stood in line last night at the check out stand reading the soap opera magazine and couldn't for the life of me figure out what was going on in the CBS soaps.

                          GL has always been my all time fav, too. Josh and Reva will always be my fav characters...and the all time Bauer family. What's life with out the Bauer 4th of July BBQ or Memorial Day picnic? I miss the old story lines that were like the Dallas and Knotts Landing shows....oooh...and even Falcon Crest.

                          Okay, so I need to stop now and focus on the reality of life....lol...
