    Rocky Horror Picture Show

    I dunno how many of you are fans of RHPS, but I just heard that they are remaking it.
    Why do these hollywood hot shots have to ruin a perfectly good thing? All of these movies being remade over and over, can't we just leave well enough alone?

      They do it because they are scared of new ideas, and want to make money. Sigh...

      I dread to think who will be in it. If Nicolas Cage is involved in any way I will boycott it forever. He is the patron saint of remakes that shouldn't have been made (because of the Wicker Man).

        I'm not sure of the audience participation, although that were saying that there would be a few new songs...drab...so maybe?

          Who could possibly be better than Tim Curry as Dr. Frank N. Furter? Seriously, he rocked those fishnets!... the idea of a remake is pure folly. I'm sick of remakes, too.

              Tim Curry made a transvestite in fishnets look sexy! I can't imagine anyone else doing it. However a some years back the Drew Carey show did a spoof on it and I could see Ryan Stiles playing the butler guy.

                I wish I had seen that,that must have been funny. Because as hubs knows, I have a weird thing for Ryan Stiles. And I mean weird because lets face it the man is sorta creepy looking, but I am totally smitten. lol.

                    Andie, that's hilarious ... I never saw his show; thanks for the link! Personally, I think the Priscilla peeps "out-dragged" the Rocky folk on that one! (I couldn't find any "drag queen" smilies on the list; had to make do with "Madonna, Britney, Wonder Woman" and "Gwen Stefani")

                        I love the Rocky Horror Picture Show...when they remake classics like this I always watch them...So I'll hold off on judging until I actually see it. You never know. =)

                          Remaking Rocky Horror? You lie! Tell me that you lie! That's my all-time favourite movie.

                          New songs? I have the entire soundtrack committed to memory. I don't need no steenkeen new songs!

                          Seriously, if they do it, I will boycott it. Nobody could ever do it better than Tim Curry.

                              Rocky Horror Picture Show was on last night on TV (with a million gazillion commercials ), and I shivered with antici.....pation! I only wish I looked half as good in a bustier, fishnets and garters as Tim Curry did !
