So, I went to my church today and volunteered to move some furniture in the children's classrooms so they could strip and wax the floors.
This was at 9am.
Almost no one showed up and I ended up stripping floors all day.
I am not one to shun hard work, I consider myself a working breed, but wow, that was a full day of HARD work. Seems like there are never enough volunteers at anything.
Anyone have a volunteering horror story to share?
