  • Christmas holiday plans

    Hi folks,

What's every bodies cooking, baking and gift plans for Christmas?

My family has decided to arrange a party in a restaurant in kent. The restaurants decor there consists mainly of Christmas tree lights, we are planning to order traditional American or English Christmas dinner along with great drinks (forgetting about diet that day), live music and a fun atmosphere...

I will prepare cookies and cakes... Gifts are yet to be planned.

    Re: Christmas holiday plans

    Baking and delivering for others...done.

    Buying presents for others...not doing.

Sending only 25 Christmas cards to others....done.

Hiking in the mountains with the family for a 12ft tree and ending up bringing home a 15 ft tree to lope off 1 foot so it will not top over...done.

Lighting the Avent candle before Christmas...started.

Making a shopping list for what to buy for food over winter break...in the works.

Plans to buy one family gift for just my kids, DH, and me...in the works.

Plans to make chili w/no beans for Christmas Eve dinner tradition...planned out and ready.

Plans to stay focused and NOT go off plan just because "it's the Holidays"....planned and priceless!

I hope you plan on doing the same this holiday season. You are worth the time, effort, and planning to NOT go off plan just because "it's the holidays". Give yourself a present and focus on your family...not the food.

Traveling to another state to visit Son, DIL, and Granddaughters. Having a big family meal with his in-laws too. Can't wait really. Santa is bringing GD's a Wii, so expect to have great fun too.
