    Marley and Me

    so, i saw this movie tonight.....it was very good. well, my kinda movie, being that i am such a dog lover. it was a tear jerker though, and i confess i cried a little myself....but overall, i would recommend this one!!

      Marley was a cute movie. You guys should read the book! Much better, as is usually the case.

        i read the book in '05....or whatever year it came out. agreed, the book is always better and a movie can never capture the full effect of the written words on paper and in print.

          i haven't watch the movie but i'm very sure it's gonna be an emotional one. i hate to watch serious dog and human type of movie. cause they make me cry =p

            oh boy, yeah i cried too. any movies with animals, when the animalks get hurt or injured.......that makes me upset. a person can get injured and i am ok with that, but when something happens to an animal......i just can't take it.

              My dog looks just like Marley! She's such a sweet dog too. very smart. My dog is 7 years old and I brag about the fact that she has no bad habits. She never chews anything up! Well, the other night she chewed up one of her toys we got her for Christmas and there was stuffing all over the floor so we were like 'oh, Mia... do we need to change your name to Marley?' it was funny. Thank goodness for gentle leaders too... She's so freakin' hyper when we go out for walks, if I don't put the gentle leader on I have neck pain from her pulling on the leash the whole time. She will also go in the pool by herself on a hot day! Dogs are great aren't they? That was an awesome movie.

                i love dogs....have grown up around them my entire life gordon setters, irish setters and goldens....and more recently, king charles spaniels

                  we had an irish setter named 'Lucky' growing up... mom got rid of her in the devorce to get even with my dad. we pretty much never forgave her... ha.
