Any fans out there? I loved yesterday's show. I really laughed at a lot of the going ons. Wow there are many weird and wonderful people out there. I thought they showed more of the good ones this time. I liked that.

Big fan here. I also happen to work for a FOX TV station. Well, let's say I WAS a big fan, and now I watch when I can.... The best years for me was the year with Bo Bice and Chris Daughtry, both of whom I enjoy.
I thought last year was pretty terrible. Could you imagine if teh 2nd place finisher had actually won? YIKES..... that would have really hurt the show, IMO.
This year, I like the girl who sang Barracuda, and the 16 year old girl who did the Adopt a Grandfriend thing.
And if the girl in the bikini isn't out early on, then I know something is wrong. Not super attractive, not a great singer, too much attitude.... but a nice keester.
I'm a father of twin daughters, whose main goal in life is to set a positive example for them.

I loved the guy tonight that sang Heard it through the Grapevine, the guy that they called the geek, that sang Boys II Men, and the last chick that sang the Stevie Wonder song....
There were a lot that made me laugh, and it made me wonder if they were joking or no one told them how they truly sang, lol....
This is the first season I have started watching from the beginning...lol.. I hope that I can keep remembering to watch..

Angela I really liked a lot of the same people you did...I really like the two guys friends that made it through and then one who just lost his wife 4 weeks ago was amazing, he really suprised me!! Alright papa duece, I'm glad to hear a man give that opinion about bikini girl because he voice really wasn't all that!! She was in not means horrible, just didn't stick out (other than her lack of clothes) but hey if I had that body maybe I'd do the same thing?! lolComment

Sticking out in a creative way is probably one of the few ways to get to the judges on that show. I knew they would send her on =- just for fun. They have a few of those every year. I liked yesterday too. Some really interesting singers and stories there. The one they ended with was really sad.
I also wonder are some of those people really that delusional or are they just good actors?

I like the show. Only watched two seasons (the young black girl won the first year and the beat box guy was on the show) and started this year. I skipped last year as I tuned in once and did not see anything worth caring about. It looked like they tried to cast all "Sinjya" types. No thanks.
EDIT: Oh yeah, and Ryan trying to high five the blind guy almost destroyed the universe with funny. I rewound that and watched it several times.Trying to become half the man I am right now.

I did not notice that. I kind of liked last season. I thought they had some good singers. So far this one looks fine. That cute girl with the sad back story who had written her own song was very impressive I thought.Startdate: November 18, 2007. Female 5'2"

I do not like the new judge. I think the other judges have been quieter this season and letting her take over. And some of the comments she has made has made her seem like a snob. She doesn't add anything to the show at all. But then again I never have liked change

I'm a huge Idol fan and I have been watching since the year Fantasia won. I absolutely love watching the audition rounds because it makes for a good laugh. My all-time favorite has to be the "Eccentric" (<<< click for a laugh!) audition.
Yeah, Ryan trying to high five the blind guy was a huge faux pas and he realized it a bit too late. I know he probably felt like an idiot after that, but it made for a good laugh on his account!F/35/5' 7"

I am a big fan and watched all of them, my favorite Idel was chicken little and the worst was Jasia ( hope spelling correct ) you know the guy with a different hair do every day....This yere I did not really see any rockers out there unless they were not shown yet...It's never to late to start !!!

great thread... I love idol.... I really like the guy from Peurto Rico he sang like marc Anthony... AND I like the latino pagent girl... she has an incredible voice... I just hope she can tone down that personality,, otherwise who won't get through...
