My current workout music is Survivor (Rocky theme I know it's corny), Guns - N - Roses, Metallica, Rob Zombie, Drowning Pool, and Ozzy Osbourne. I'm making another batch of music tonight from the Jock Jams collections.

Re: Exercise music?
Lyssie, I like rock and roll, and R & Blues mainly. I do the treadmill, and bike.
Thanks for the free music Mom. My computer may not let me get it though, it's been acting squirrelly lately.
tfek70, hey! I know Waukesha! I'm close to Menomonee Falls. Have you been watching American Idol with the guy from Milwaukee, Danny Goyke, on there? I think he may have a good chance of winning. You're far from home now. How do you like the south?

I retire in 402 more days, and I'll be back in the greater Milwaukee area. I like the weather down here, and the people, but home is Wisconsin."...Health and fitness are more than just personal goals - they're gifts we give to the people around us. Re: Exercise music?
I detest exercise. I loath it. That being said, it is still a necessary part of life to keep me healthy and strong so I work out but try to get it done as quickly as possible. To that end... I am all about the metal music, baby. Iron Maiden, Anthrax, Megadeath, (old) Metallica, Saliva, Disturbed and many others. For me it is about something very fast-passed that keeps driving me.
What types of workouts do you do and are you doing them daily or do you have a regimen?F /5'6"

Re: Exercise music?
Wow tfek70, you have the days counted! You're looking forward to it then!
Going back home is always a good thing, I bet you miss it. We had one crazy winter this year, tons of snow!
2bme, I don't blame you. I have to push myself to exercise too. I like Metallica, but mainly I like rock and pop. I just need some fast paced rock or pop music that makes you want to move.
I usually do a few miles on the bike and treadmill at the gym, some weights too.
Does anyone have a certain song that makes them want to get up and move? I will download it to my ipod.

Re: Exercise music?
As I sit here checking my media player. I am listing songs that I have on my media player. These are the top songs that make me get up and move even when I don't feel like it. I'm sorry none of them are inspirational/worship songs although, Kirk Franklin has a few songs that I like and CeCeWinans has a song called "Anybody wanna pray?" that is slammin!
I don't have any sites to recommend you visit to get these, I have most of this music myself and then I have friends (who I trust- you don't want to get a virus) who I trade music with so there's an idea for you too.
I hope this helps you a bit.
the two songs by the Pussycat dolls and just about anything fast by Beyonce makes me jump up and move! If I'm already working out and these songs come on I move faster or stronger. They have some really good beats.
Beyonce- Single ladies
Kanye West- Love Lockdown
Beyonce- de ja vu
John Legend-Greenlight
Fergie-Fergalicious
LL Cool J-phenomenon
Rehanna-Shut up and drive, Mr DJ, please don't stop the music, & Disturbia
NeYo-Closer
the Pussycat Dolls-When I grow up
the Pussycat Dolls-buttons
Beyonce-freakumdress
Beyonce-diva
