    Dollar Store Finds....

    Do you find anything good at the dollar store?

    I'm normally not one to buy posters (my days of putting posters of Tom Selleck (Magnum PI) and Kirk Cameron are behind me now), but my daughter's told me I couldn't pass up the one up with Jimmie Johnson..."It would be a great class decoration" they said. Yep, I must agree...it would. I was a Tony Stewart fan (seeing how I put in over 2 years with the orange box) until his recent hissy fits, otherwise I would have bought his. They did have Dale Earnheart Jr. and Jeff Gordon...all though they don't really impress me that much.

    Any hoo....dollar store trip was great today.

      Oh, that's right! I should have picked one up for JimmieJo. Well, I'll hang it in my future classroom in honor of JimmieJo and for Jimmie Johnson...both class acts in helping others

      I did buy a squeegy thingy to squeegy the walls of the shower really good to avoid spots and calcium build up (OCD thing) at the Dollar Store, too!

        I"m a dollar store junkie, I love when i come accross a great find!

        My most recent one I got excited about, was metal broom handles that have funky designs on them, they had flowered ones, zebra, leopard skin patterns etc. They brighten up my kitchen a bit! I bought 2 funky flowered ones.

        I also found a cute plastic nacho/salso bowl shaped like a sombrero.

        My biggest issue with dollar stores is I go in to buy one thing and end up coming out with $20 worth lol. They're the only place I will buy hair accessories, kitchen utensils etc.

          Sweet finds! I'd love one of those funky brooms! It sounds like you get to really say "Ole'!" on Cinco de Mayo! Very fun. I know all about going in knowing you'll just spend a dollar on one item....and end up spending a few more than expected. It's a conspiracy!

            In the UK we have Poundland which is where i get all the kids stationary. They recently had loads of Hanna Montanna and HSM pens, pencils and notebooks.DD6 had a field day.
