I was watching an infomercial about the shamwow ... has anyone ever ordered this? Is this thing for real?
    Is it worth it?

Has anyone ever ordered anything from infomercials before?

I never have but I have been tempted. They are only 19.95, everything is 19.95 or 99. Give me a break.
I have seen those shamwows commercials and at the auto parts store they sell this micofiber cloth that comes in neon colors, and I love them cause you can clean glass with them slick as a whistle, toss them in the laundry and they are as good as new. I think they are the same thing. Now I use them to clean everything.

It's gotta be worth it because it's...

Actually, the reviews at Amazon.com are not good.

They sell them in stores here, so they don't have to be ordered. I did pick one up and am fairly happy with it. I owned one years ago (they had a different name..same thing, got it at a home show). They're pretty absorbant, but are best to be damp first (which explains the complaints of them 'pushing around water on Amazon). I actually used one today to cleanup a glass of water i spilled on the carpet and it pretty much picked it up.

It came with a thinner blue one that I use to wipe my granite counters and they come out completely streak free. I also have used the thicker one to dry my dog on days when it rains.

The pack I bought came 2 for 9.99, i wouldn't pay more than that for them though.
