On the Canadian food network there is this reality show going on now where families in Mission, British Columbia are trying this diet. They pledged to do the diet for 100 days.
It is very interesting to think about how to survive and thrive on product within a 100 mile of where you live. The 6 families (down to 5 now) that the show is following are struggling a bit but are now slowly learning about foods in their neighbourhood.

I don't know if I could. There are those little things that may be hard to do without - such as spices. But it sounds like fun.
