Re: Anyone watch the kentucky derby?
We watched it..it was awesome!
This year we didn't do it for this race..but usually we get a bunch of friends together, we put all the horse names into a hat and everyone pay's $5 for a name, and whoever gets the winning horse gets the pot. It's alot of fun actually..because you know somone is going to win. Odd's are better than placing a real bet lol (which i've done in the past but have yet to be successful!)Jen, 39, F

Re: Anyone watch the kentucky derby?
My favorite part: That horse cost $9,500 and was trucked (literally) in a horse carrier attached to a pickup from New Mexico to Kentucky for the race.
He beat, among others, a horse that cost $2.1million and was flown in on a private jet from the Middle East.
Not too shabby.- M/37

Not this time. That horse paid 50-1 so a $5 bet would have paid $250Originally posted by sadie147 View PostWe watched it..it was awesome!
