    It was awesome! 47-1 long shot won. second biggest upset in KD history. he came from way behind and wove his way though to win.

    We watched it..it was awesome!

    This year we didn't do it for this race..but usually we get a bunch of friends together, we put all the horse names into a hat and everyone pay's $5 for a name, and whoever gets the winning horse gets the pot. It's alot of fun actually..because you know somone is going to win. Odd's are better than placing a real bet lol (which i've done in the past but have yet to be successful!)

      We saw the news of the post race...wow!!! The horse ate his Wheaties!

        My favorite part: That horse cost $9,500 and was trucked (literally) in a horse carrier attached to a pickup from New Mexico to Kentucky for the race.

        He beat, among others, a horse that cost $2.1million and was flown in on a private jet from the Middle East.

        Not too shabby.

          Not this time. That horse paid 50-1 so a $5 bet would have paid $250
